Swetha is currently a SUNY Albany graduate student obtaining her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling.  She will graduate in December 2022. She enjoys working with students and hopes to form a great alliance with them as she completes her Master’s degree. 

Swetha completed her undergraduate in SUNY Albany, and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Art in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience and Criminal Justice. Her counseling approaches are psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy theories, which help clients form insights and explore issues on a deeper level. Her focus is building a deep and empathetic alliance through motivational interviewing, while looking through a multicultural lens. Swetha’s experience includes working with students with various behavioral concerns and trauma.
