The Joseph Farone, Jr. NHS Scholarship was established in 2014 by Anthony Farone '65 to honor his late father, Joseph Farone, and the value he placed on the importance of attending college and earning a degree in higher education. Joseph was a proud graduate of the now closed North High School (NHS) in Syracuse, NY and went on to run the very successful family business, Farone & Son, Inc. This scholarship will be awarded based on financial need with first preference to a student from Onondaga County in New York State.
