The Dr. Teresita A. Bajas Summer of Service Fellowship established by Dr. Maria Theresa Bajas Boulos '90 to honor the memory of her mother for the profound influence she had on her life, is intended to support the costs associated with Summers of Service. Each summer Siena College/Albany Medical College Program students embark from Siena's campus on an experience that has life changing effects on their person and their view of the world around them. Required to perform a summer of volunteer service in an area of the world where there is need, Siena students gain experience that will foster 'remedial impulse,' the tendency to see a need and to act on it.
