The Jurist in Residence endowment supports a distinguished jurist as he/she mentors students who have an interest the legal profession, the judicial process, constitutional law and related issues such as criminal and social justice. The holder of the title advises and critiques students involved in campus presentations, Siena's Moot Court/Mock Trial competition, and helps mentor students enrolled in the Pre-Law Society. He/she also participates in campus workshops, panel discussions and informal conversations with students and faculty members on the role of law in our society.
