This minor provides information, insight and thinking skills needed to address the challenges of living and working in a world increasingly defined by the latest scientific and technological breakthroughs. Students combine their background in natural and social sciences with multiple sources philosophy to promote critical reflection on how social media, robotics, bio- technology, surveillance devices, and other modern forces are re-defining our humanity.

Philosophy teaches students to think clearly and critically about the most important questions of life. We explore not only how things are, but also how they could have been and how they ought to be. Philosophy majors and minors routinely score high on all standardized tests and go on to successful careers in business, education, government, law, medicine and public policy.
