Majors, Minors, & Certificates

Multimedia

The multimedia minor prepares students to work in the dynamic field of multimedia design by combining digital art and computer science. In courses such as web design, graphic design, digital photography, and management information systems you’ll learn to create dynamic visuals in web and print media.

Program Highlights

  • The program culminates in a capstone independent study, internship, or team project in which students leverage the design skill they have acquired to solve real world problems
  • The minor and an appropriate associated major can allow significant concentration on multimedia in the creative arts, computer science or business.

Creative Arts Department

If you have a passion for the arts—whether it’s a love of music, theatre, painting, drawing, videography, photography or broadcast journalism—consider majoring in the creative arts at Siena.

Computer Science Department

Our Computer Science Department emphasizes hands-on computing in small classes where laboratory experiences, one-on-one interaction and group projects are essential to learning. Our goal is to develop your critical thinking and communication skills, preparing you to solve real-world problems in business, science and society.
