To teach is a privilege….
My teaching philosophy is focused on motivating students to not only learn course material, but also to become excited by knowledge and thus be confident in its use. Additionally, the importance of values in decision-making is most important in my view in the education of Leaders and is woven by me throughout my teaching. In essence, I attempt to have students assess the ‘whys’, as well as the ‘what’ of any business situation.
Having been fortunate to have had great teachers, coaches, and mentors throughout my education and career, I attempt to emulate their gifts to me of enthusiasm, love of learning, and dedication to student-centered education, in my work at Siena.
