Siena College has several articulation agreements in place, should a student choose to attend a program that is offered in cooperation with one of its partners.
National applicants to medical and dental schools outnumber available seats by a ratio of more than two-to-one. In 2011, the Siena health professions advisor helped 97 percent (30 out of 31) of applying students earn acceptance to professional schools. In the past five years, nearly 75 percent of our traditional pre-med students with a GPA greater than 3.5 have been accepted into American M.D. programs. In the same time period 93 percent of all graduates were accepted to medical school (American M.D., D.O., and offshore schools), and nearly 75 percent of those applying to dental school have been accepted.
Summer of Service Sparks Student Support of Kenyan People
After their summer of service in Kenya, students from the Siena/Albany Medical College joint acceptance program have launched a fundraising campaign to support the Marigat Catholic Mission and provide meals and medical supplies to people living in the African country.

Student's Perspective: Service Trip to the DR
Ten Siena students traveled to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic with Assistant Professor of Spanish Marcela Garces, Ph.D., and Assistant Director of the Damietta Cross-Cultural Center Valencia Constant for a service trip last month. The expedition spent a week teaching English to students of all ages, from pre-kindergarten to adults, and visiting the infirm. Read More
