Students have the option of requesting individual peer tutoring or joining a group tutoring session, both of which are hosted by fellow Siena students.
Group Tutoring sessions are usually available for introductory courses in subject areas such as Science, Math, Accounting, Statistics and Quantitative Business Analysis. Students may ‘drop in’ for these sessions where several students receive academic support for a particular subject. These sessions are led by Peer Tutors who have completed the course with exceptional achievement and have been recommended by a faculty member. Tutors have also receive training prior to working as a tutor.
After attending two group sessions, students may request individual sessions by filling out a tutor request form. The Office of Tutoring Services then makes every effort to accommodate students in need and match them with a trained tutor.
Information about tutoring for current students can be accessed here.
