The Career Center hosts numerous activities throughout the year that allow students to practice job search and interview skills, gain industry insight and build a working network.

Career activities include:

  • Career Planning Interactive Presentations: These workshops are designed to deepen and hone career preparation and interview skills. Topics change each semester.
  • Employer-in-Residence Mock Interview Program:  Sharpen your interview skills through a mock interview with a visiting employer.
  • Etiquette Dinner: When it comes to networking, every opportunity counts – even dinner. Practice “professional” dining with this workshop.
  • Free Student Business Card: Be prepared to network and interview with personal business cards, provided to you at no cost.
  • LinkedIn Photo Booth: Get a professional photograph taken for use on LinkedIn and other career tools.
  • Lunch & Learn Series: Small sessions featuring professionals from a wide variety of fields.
  • On-Campus Recruiting: Companies come to campus to interview and recruit Siena talent.
  • Phantom Job Search: Practice your job search skills as guest employers rate your resume, phone and interview skills in this preparatory exercise. 
  • Speed Interviewing Night: Practice interview skills in a fast-paced and friendly environment.
  • Speed Networking Night: Meet professionals in a fast-paced and friendly environment.
  • Spring Career, Internship and Graduate School Fair
  • Walk-in Wednesdays: Get your resume critiqued by a visiting employer.
