Just minutes from the New York State capital, AACSB-accredited Siena College provides the “education for a lifetime” to all who step foot onto campus. Siena College is a private, liberal arts college, whose foundation resides in the Franciscan and Catholic intellectual traditions. Only professors, not teacher assistants or graduate students, teach our small-sized classes, fostering individual and academic growth for our Saints. Students work closely with their professors (12:1 student-faculty ratio), which allows students and faculty members to connect both in and out of the classroom through flexible office hours and one-on-one, year-round research collaborations.
With 32 majors, 80+ minors and certificates, prestigious joint-degree programs and more offered here, you’ll discover more than 1,200 unique ways to study your passions and reach your personal and professional goals. Join us for an open house event and you’ll be guaranteed to hear from our Saints themselves. You may talk with one of our 661 student interns and researchers (fun fact: Siena students intern at 300+ organizations each year, like Google, NASA, and Target!). Or, you may find yourself chatting with a Saint who has studied abroad in one of more than 50 countries around the world that our Center for International Programs provides opportunities for.
Don’t believe us that our Saints succeed once they finish their time here at Siena? Ninety-five percent of recent graduates are employed or continuing their education, many working and studying at top organizations and graduate programs. Community is so important to Siena that a third of our graduates say a Siena connection from networking led to their first or current job.
Come and explore our beautiful campus with our student tour guides, and you’ll see for yourself why “community” is synonymous with Siena. Everyone you meet along the way is friendly, funny, smart and supportive, and you’ll partake in the on-campus tradition of having the door opened for you.
