Groundskeeper

Siena College is currently accepting applications for a full-time Groundskeeper position. Hours will be from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.

Job Summary: Maintain assigned projects/areas to highest possible standards
General Duties:
o Mow/Trim
o Plantings
o Equipment Operation
o Snow Removal
o Athletic Field Maintenance
o Other as assigned

Requirements:
o High School Diploma/GED certificate
o Good communication skills
o Ability to lift 50 lbs
o Previous Grounds experience in an academic setting preferred
o Degree or Certification in turf grass/green industry preferred
o Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license at the time of appointment and must maintain such license throughout the tenure of employment.
