Dr. Erik Eddy

Dr. Eddy holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Organizational Change from Bowling Green State University and received his doctoral degree in Organizational Studies from University at Albany, State University of New York. He is currently an Associate Professor of Management in the School of Business and the NEXT Faculty Fellow at Siena College.

Before joining Siena College, Dr. Eddy was a Project Director for The Group for Organizational Effectiveness (gOE, Inc.), an Albany-based consulting group working with over 400 organizations globally including over one-third of the Fortune 100. In that capacity, Dr. Eddy worked with clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Tiffany & Co., BP, Progressive, Core Staffing Services, US Air Force, and US Navy in the areas of change management, team effectiveness, learning and development, and strategic planning.

Dr. Eddy teaches courses in Human Resources Management, Change Management and Organizational Strategy. His research focuses on building enduring leadership, enhancing team performance, and improving developmental interactions. Over the past several years, Dr. Eddy has won outstanding empirical research awards from The Academy of Human Resource Management, The Eastern Academy of Management, The Academy of Human Resource Development, and The International Academy of Management and Business. He has also been recognized by the School of Business at Siena College with the Outstanding Research Award.

Dr. Eddy has served as Executive Director or as a member of the Board of Directors of several non-profits in the Capital Region.
