Senior Instructional Technology Specialist
The Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) at Siena College is seeking applications for the full-time administrative position of Senior Instructional Technology Specialist. Reporting to the Deputy CIO, the Senior Instructional Technology Specialist is responsible for consulting with faculty to identify technologies that will assist them in meeting their pedagogical goals as well as promoting effective uses of technology in support of teaching and learning on campus. The Senior Instructional Technology Specialist will develop initiatives to provide faculty with opportunities to identify and explore emerging trends in educational technology to enhance learning in the classroom. This position will analyze and implement strategies to infuse and advance academic programs through the innovative use of technology. The Senior Instructional Technology Specialist will develop training materials, teach workshops and provide one-to-one consulting to assist faculty and students with a broad range of teaching and learning technologies
Requirements: A master’s degree in Instructional Technology, Curricular Design, Education or other related field with five or more years of relevant experience in a higher education setting is required for this position. Excellent communication skills are also required.
