 The NEXT Program Steering Committee provides strategic advice and guidance about program development within the Siena College organizational context.  The NEXT Steering Committee is composed of faculty from the School of Business and School of Liberal Arts.

Cheryl Buff, Ph.D., Professor of Marketing, (518) 783-4277 

Dr. Buff's teaching interests include: consumer behavior, sports marketing, and marketing management.  She has taught classes in Retailing, Marketing Management, Business to Business Marketing and Purchasing, and currently teaches classes in Consumer Behavior, Marketing, and Sports Marketing. Dr. Laurie Naranch earned her BA in Political Science at The College of Wooster, Wooster Ohio and her MA and PhD at Rutgers University, New Jersey. Charles Seifert, Ph.D. Professor of Management, (518) 782-6501

Dr. Seifert has been teaching at Siena since 1996. Prior to Siena, he held various corporate positions ranging from chief financial officer to vice president for commercial lending. His main areas of teaching include leadership, organizational behavior and research methods. Dr. Seifert’s research and professional development interests align closely with his teaching areas. Dr. Thurston is the recipient of the 2011-2012 Siena College School of Business outstanding teaching award where he has taught courses in strategy, management, leading change, organizational behavior and research methods. Dr. Thurston conducts quantitative and qualitative research in organizational justice, mentoring, student motivation in electronic learning, succession planning and strategic decision-making. Ken is a Professional Specialist at Siena bringing 35+ years of business experience to the college and Siena’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.   Ken has held high level management positions including CEO and CFO in both for-profit and not-for-profit companies and launched and/or helped to launch numbers of businesses including a technology inventory management company, a CRM company serving the auto industry, a financial services company, a medical device manufacturing company, and numerous retail companies.  FULL BIO>>
