NYS Teacher Certification Exams Pass Rate Data

Teacher candidates who completed their program of study in 2010-2011 academic year have been highly successful at passing their New York State Teacher Certification Licensure Examinations.

All program completers have had a 100% passing rate on the Liberal Arts and Sciences Test (LAST), Assessment of Teaching Skills–Written (ATS-W), and content specialty tests (CST). LAST and ATS-W are the two most frequently taken exams required of all candidates seeking certification in grades 7-12 in the Education Department. LAST, ATS-W, and pass rates across subject-program content areas, and summary pass rates are specified below.
