Director - Services for Students with Disabilities / Coordinator of Veteran's Services
Siena College is currently accepting applications for the full-time, 12-month position of Director of Services for Students with Disabilities / Coordinator of Veteran’s Services in our Disability Services Office. This position is responsible to develop and administer policies to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and act as student services liaison for prospective, new and continuing student veterans concerning their transition from military services to student status. The Director will work to enhance the mission of the College and act as a facilitator of services for students with disabilities within the College community. The Director will be responsible for monitoring, understanding and interpreting trends and developments in the field into departmental policies and procedures. The Director should be able to communicate well with the students, faculty, staff, and other constituents with whom interaction is required to ensure that the services meet the needs of all community members. A master’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience are required.
