RA Selection: Group ProcessThe group process interview is an opportunity for the Residential Life staff to see how you as a candidate interact with other students through a variety of activities. The RA role centers on the ability to establish positive relationships with others and build community. This day allows you to engage in several activities highlighting certain aspects of the RA position including program planning and implementation, group dynamics and conflict, administrative prioritization, and several other activities. All candidates will be split into smaller groups (approximately 10-15 people per group). A group leader will accompany you to each of the activities throughout the day. Each activity will be led by a current member of the Residential Life staff, and will include time at the end for processing and for you to ask any questions that you might have about the activity and/or the RA role. Group Process will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013. Please plan on arriving at the New Hall main lobby at 8:30 a.m. for check-in. Dress code is casual. Please wear comfortable shoes, as you will be moving throughout the day. We will be providing you with breakfast. The day will conclude around 12:30 p.m. Tips for Success in Group Process:
