Early Intervention

Early intervention with students has the greatest impact and rate of success.  These tools are available: 


     *SKIPS Hotline - Students who are absent from class should be reported to Academic Affairs via e-mail at SKIPS@siena.edu.  The student and his/her advisor receive a letter stating concern and attempts to help the student get themselves back on track.

     *Mid-Semester Grades are an important gauge of progress and should be submitted for students.

     *Workshops for Student Success - sessions on study skills, procrastination, time management, etc.  Times will be announced via email.
