Karin Lin-Greenberg joined the English Department at Siena College in the fall of 2012. She earned an MFA in fiction writing from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006 and an MA in literature and writing from Temple University in 2003. Her work has appeared in journals including The Antioch Review, Epoch, North American Review, Kenyon Review Online, Silk Road, Berkeley Fiction Review, Bellevue Literary Review, South Dakota Review, Redivider, and elsewhere. Her stories have been finalists in contests sponsored by Third Coast, Glimmer Train, Many Mountains Moving, and The Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction, and her fiction has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She has previously taught classes in creative writing, composition, and literature at Missouri State University, The College of Wooster, and Appalachian State University. She has taught introductory courses in fiction and poetry writing and advanced classes in fiction and creative nonfiction. Topics her courses have covered include traditional and experimental fiction, flash fiction, the novella, the story cycle, memoir, graphic memoirs, the lyric essay, and the nature essay.
