The Franciscan Center for Service and Advocacy runs a host of regularly scheduled events and programs throughout the year, as well co-sponsor other events with partners on campus. Scroll down to see our annual calendar. Be on the lookout for e-blasts about these and other special events.
In addition to our regularly scheduled programs, FCSA offers a variety of special events throughout the year such as guest speakers, workshops, movies, and panel discussions. One of these special events is SIENAsecrets.
SIENAsecrets was begun in Spring 2012 in an effort to make the Siena College Community an even more welcoming and compassionate home for all its members. Participation is anonymous, and as easy as completing the sentence “If you really knew me…” on a 4”X6” card.
Visit our virtual Siena Book of Secrets at http://sienasecrets.blogspot.com/. Be on the lookout for e-blasts from FCSA advertising our next SIENAsecrets event.
SIENAsecrets is run in collaboration with the Office of Residential Life and the Center for Counseling and Student Development.

In collaboration with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany, FCSA offers certified child protection training through VIRTUS®, a nationally recognized program and service of The National Catholic Risk Retention Group, Inc.
All those who participate in VIRTUS® training receive a certificate testifying that they are aware of the best practices and procedures for protecting minors from sexual harassment and assault. This certificate is required of all adults working with minors in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany, as well as most other Roman Catholic dioceses throughout the United States.
Please contact FCSA to learn more about VIRTUS® and schedule a training session. You may visit the VIRTUS® website by clicking the image below or typing this address into your web-browser: http://www.virtus.org/virtus/.
