Albany Community Action Partnership
The Siena College Research Institute (SRI) and the Albany Community Action Partnership (ACAP) conducted a series of surveys with both Albany County residents and service providers called the 2012 Albany County Community Needs Assessment. These surveys, conducted in 2011 and 2012, investigated the overall quality of life within Albany County as well as the most vital human service needs of individuals and families in the County with a focus on low-income residents. This data, combined with existing data, provides a comprehensive analysis of communities in Albany County and identifies the areas of greatest need and service gaps in meeting those human needs. Dr. Don Levy, SRI Director, presented the findings of the 2012 Albany County Community Needs Assessment on February 7, 8, and 9th at various locations in Albany County.
