Assistant Professor of AccountingSiena College Accounting Department invites applications for a tenure track position beginning September 2012. Applications will be accepted and considered until the position is filled. Rank and salary are dependent upon experience and credentials. A PhD/DBA with concentration in accounting is expected, relevant business experience is desirable. For someone desiring to teach tax, an experienced tax professional with an LLM will be considered. For someone desiring a position in Accounting Information Systems, an experienced computer professional with expertise in Microsoft Excel and Access will be considered. Research and professional development activities appropriate to academically qualified status for AACSB accreditation and the School of Business mission are necessary. If sufficient Academically Qualified individuals are not located then individuals presently Professionally Qualified and willing to pursue a PhD or DBA may be considered for a Visiting position. In this case continued satisfactory progress towards a PhD or DBA is required for renewal.
