Pay and Holiday Schedule
Semi-monthly payroll checks are issued to faculty and exempt administrators on a semi-monthly basis on the 1st and the 15th of each month. In the event that the 1st or the 15th day of the month falls on a weekend or on a College holiday when offices are closed, payroll checks will be issued on the business day immediately preceeding the weekend or holiday.
Bi-weekly payroll checks are issued to non-exempt, hourly employees. The payroll period consists of the 14 consecutive days beginning on 12:01 a.m. every other Saturday. Checks are issued every other Friday (bi-weekly) for the two-week period ending with the previous Friday. In the event that the pay date falls on a College holiday when offices are closed, payroll checks will be issued on the business day immediately preceeding the weekend or holiday.
The Office of Human Resources, with the approval of the President of the College, publishes a list each year, by July 1st, of the holidays to be celebrated for the succeeding 12-month period.
