In such a consultation, the CFEI Director can address your specific areas of concern.
Mid-Term Evaluations
Upon faculty request, the CFEI will conduct evaluations for instructors interested in collecting student feedback at mid-semester. Faculty members can also be emailed a form for their own use. Open Classrooms The CFEI Director will compile a list of colleagues who are willing to have their classes observed.
Quarterly Newsletter
The CFEI Director will distribute a newsletter four times a year addressing new trends in teaching and learning, highlighting material in the center’s library, and featuring a faculty profile.
Teaching Circles
Teaching Circles are groups of 4 to10 faculty who meet an average of six times throughout a semester, or an academic year, to work together on a specific issue concerning their teaching or students' learning. Timely Tips of the Week
These brief passages are sent weekly throughout the year and typically include links to helpful resources. They are timed to provide “just in time” information on a variety of topics which typically arise as the year unfolds.
