The Distinguished Alumni Awards

Each year Siena College recognizes members of the alumni body as “Distinguished Alumni” with the following awards during reunion weekend.

• The Professor Joseph A. Buff Award is for alumni with outstanding accomplishments or achievements in their careers.
• The Reverend Benjamin Kuhn, O.F.M. Award for specific contributions to improve the Siena Community. 
• The Professor Egon Plager Award for accomplishments in advancing the welfare of other human beings. 
• The Franciscan Spirit Award** for young alumni demonstrating a commitment to advancing the welfare of other human beings. 

**Only when a worthy candidate is brought forward will this be awarded.
