The Safest Place to Live - Siena College is located just outside of New York state's capital in the town of Colonie.  Siena's hometown has the lowest crime rate in the U.S. for the second year in a row.

Upstate New York is known for its picturesque autumns with the changing of the leaves, the snow-filled winters perfect for skiing and ice-skating, the bright flowers and green meadows of the springtime, and the sunny, warm summers ideal for visiting beaches and lakes.  Whatever your hobbies and interests may be, Albany has all the seasons to accomodate them!
