Fake email sent to students - Spam Not Legit
All E-mail Users
There is recent Spam e-mail on campus. If you received the following e-mail message, please disregard and delete the note. The e-mail is not legitimate.
Remember, we will never ask you to give our your password or personal information via e-mail. So you should not respond to such Internet requests asking you to provide your personal information.
Always be safe and cautious with your e-mail and Internet browsing.
Here’s the Fake Spam E-mail:
Note the students name and account have been replaced with the word "student"

Dear Siena Email User (firstname.lastname@example.org),
This message is from the Information Technology Services (ITS) of Siena College to all our Staff and Student. We are currently upgrading our database and e-mail center and this is our final notification to you.we have sent several messages to you without response.
We are deleting all unused Mail account to create space for new accounts. In order not to be suspended, you will have to update your account by providing the information listed below:
Confirm Your Siena E-Mail Details..
Email Address: email@example.com
Re Confirm Password: ..................
If you fail to confirm your continuous usage of our services by confirming your email password now, your account will be disable and you will not be able to access your email.
You should immediately reply this email and enter your password in the above password column.
