Connect4Change

Academic Community Engagement works with partner organizations to identify their most pressing needs, creates projects to bridge the gaps, and recruit, train, and deploy teams of volunteers to make a difference. We enable Albany's leading companies to play an important role in meeting pressing social needs. We are the engagement team that companies of all sizes turn to when they want to create employee volunteer programs.

Companies can expect:

• Project Management: ACE will develop scope of project, pick up supplies (purchased by your company), provide a Connect4Change Team Leader, and manage logistic and volunteer assignments.
  
• Engaging Experience: ACE will ensure your company volunteer group will work on a well developed and meaningful project that makes a difference.
  
• Supporting the Organization: Companies will provide people power, cover cost of supplies, and make a donation to the organization and C4C project.

Partners can expect:

• Expertise: ACE will guide you in defining project-specific goals and expectations.
• Dedication: A trained volunteer Team Leader will coordinate the team of volunteers and communicate frequently with ACE.
• Professionalism: Our volunteers are trained to show up on time and ready to work.
• In-Kind Donations: You will receive any left over supplies that the company purchased and used during the project.
• Possible Future Engagement: Partners are invited to present their history and mission of the organization to the company, perhaps making a connection for future engaging projects.
