Assistant Professor of PhilosophySiena College, Loudonville (Albany), NY. Assistant Professor, Tenure Track, beginning September 2011. Teaching Load is 3 classes per semester with the expectation of scholarly activity. AOS: Open; AOC: History of Philosophy. Candidates must show a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education. Responsibilities include introductory and advanced philosophy courses and regular involvement in college governance. Teaching experience, evidence of teaching excellence, and promise of an active research agenda required. Salary and benefits are competitive. Summer stipends for research and curriculum development are available. Ph.D. in Philosophy required by time of appointment.
