Assistant Professor of SpanishFull-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish beginning September 2011 - The Siena College Department of Modern Languages and Classics seeks a generalist to teach introductory through advanced Spanish courses in language, civilization, and literature. Ph.D. expected by September 1, 2011. Native or near-native fluency and experience using instructional technology are required. Preferred area of expertise in Transatlantic culture and literature with a knowledge of Medieval and/or Colonial periods. Teaching load is 3 classes per semester with the expectation of scholarly activity.
