Assistant Professor of Composition-Rhetoric-Oral Communications

Assistant Professor in Composition/Rhetoric/Oral Communications. The Department of English seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure-track position in Composition/Rhetoric and Oral Communications, beginning September 2011. Applicants should have a PhD in the field and teaching experience. Excellence in teaching is our main criterion for hiring. Teaching load is 3 courses per semester, with expectations of service and scholarly activity. Courses to be taught include a first-year Introduction to Writing, Advanced Essay Writing, and an Oral Communications course required for our English/Education majors.
