Public Safety Officers

The Siena College Office of Public Safety is accepting applications for one full-time (midnight shift), and one part-time/on-call Public Safety Officer. The part-time applicants should be available to work evenings and/or nights on the weekends. These positions are responsible for assisting in overall safety and security of the campus community. Duties include: patrolling the campus; responding to emergency calls; enforcement of College rules and regulations including parking enforcement; preparing written reports of incidents, investigating accidents and criminal complaints, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Public Safety.
Requirements: 1) High school diploma required, Associates’ in Criminal Justice preferred;
2) Security or Law Enforcement experience required; 3) Valid NYS Driver’s license required; 4) NYS required eight-hour pre-assignment training certificate; 5) NYS Security Guard License; 6) Experience in a campus setting is helpful.
