Part-time Temporary Telephone Interviewers - Siena Research Institute

The Siena College Research Institute is accepting applications for part-time temporary Telephone Interviewers for polling work during the 2010 election season. The positions require approximately 12-20 hours per week. The Call Center will be open every day (Monday—Sunday) throughout the election season, with several shifts available.

The Siena Research Institute conducts surveys on various topics of social and public importance. The Telephone Interviewer is responsible for conducting telephone interviews with respondents using standardized interviewing techniques, and accurately recording responses using the Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) System or in writing.

Requirements include: a high school degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; the ability to speak on the telephone in a clear, courteous and pleasant manner; the ability to meet deadlines and production requirements; the ability to pay attention to detail and follow instructions; and the ability to type and use a computer keyboard.
