with a Certification in Education

Students must have a GPA of 3.0, with a 3.2 in Spanish.

Students must also have received a score of at least an Advanced Low in their Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI).

OPI Requirements

SPAN 301 - Communication in Spanish I 3 cr.
SPAN 340 - Advanced Grammar (must be completed at Siena) 3 cr.
SPAN 401 - Spanish Literature I 3 cr.
SPAN 402 - Spanish Literature II 3 cr.

Spanish Electives

18 cr.

One semester of study abroad is strongly recommended.
