Accounting Faculty

 

Siena College Accounting Department invites applications for a tenure track position beginning September 2011. Applications will be accepted and considered until the position is filled. Rank and salary are dependent upon experience and credentials. A PhD/DBA with concentration in accounting is expected, relevant business experience is desirable. An experienced tax professional with an LLM is acceptable for someone desiring a position teaching tax.   Research and professional development activities appropriate to academically qualified status for AACSB accreditation and the School of Business mission are necessary. If sufficient Academically Qualified individuals are not located then individuals who are presently Professionally Qualified and are willing to pursue a PhD or DBA may be considered for a position as a Visiting Professor. Individuals hired under such conditions would have their status evaluated annually and renewal would be dependent upon continued satisfactory progress towards a PhD or DBA. Siena College is an independent liberal arts college in the Catholic and Franciscan tradition, located in New York’s Capital District, close proximity to major higher education and cultural institutions. The college enrolls 2800 full-time students, 1200 in the School of Business. Members of the Siena College faculty will be attending the AAA meeting in San Francisco. Please forward applications to: Accounting Search Committee, c/o School of Business, Siena College 515 Loudon Road, Loudonville, NY 12211-1462. Siena College is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages applications from all qualified candidates.
