Higher Education Opportunity Program
Siena's HEOP Program provides students, who may not be able to attend college due to educational and financial circumstances, access to a valuable college education. Eligibility is based on both academic and economic criteria. Once admitted to HEOP, students receive a variety of academic support services to enhance their success while at Siena. These services include a pre-freshman summer program, quality counseling and tutoring services and a peer mentoring program. At Siena, HEOP students receive a well-rounded liberal arts education combined with professional development. Graduates leave campus prepared for a successful career in any field, and as a result of our Franciscan and Catholic tradition, a desire to use their talents to make their communities better places. In addition, HEOP students receive a very generous financial aid package, which comes from a combination of Federal, State and Siena College sources. To be considered for the Arthur O. Eve HEOP program at Siena College, you must meet all of the following conditions:
You must be economically disadvantaged with family income meeting the financial guidelines set forth by the New York State Education Department for the calendar year of your first entry into college.
