Merit ScholarsSiena offers different types of merit scholarships. The Admissions Committee will automatically review applicants for the Presidential and Franciscan Scholarships. Accepted students are encouraged to continually send updated transcripts and SAT/ACT scores, so we can reevaluate them for merit scholarships.
Presidential ScholarsPresidential Scholars have proven themselves inside and outside of the classroom. They have created opportunities for learning and exploring and have proven to be leaders both in and out of the classroom. This award is renewed annually with a cumulative GPA of 3.1. Students need to complete their freshman application for admission by January 15 in order to be reviewed. The Admissions Committee looks for:
Those who meet the above criteria will be invited to campus to attend a program of their choice in December, January, or February as part of the Presidential Scholars Series. Presidential Scholars can also ask to be considered for the College-Wide Honors Program.
Franciscan Scholars
