Purpose: The Society has been formed to provide a non-partisan arena for all members of the Siena College community to participate in lively and meaningful endeavors in the encompassing realm of politics.
Upcoming Activites:
The Political Science Society will sponsor several events in the spring 2010 semester.
The Society is ordering t-shirts for the Political Science department. Political Science majors, minors, and faculty will have access to these shirts, which emphasize free trade. The shirts will be available at some events towards the end of the school year.
There will be a student voter registration drive on Friday, April 23. This will take place during Siena Fest's Musical Mayhem event. Unregistered students will be able to fill out registration forms at a table stationed by the Political Science Society, and the Society is looking to have raffles for items such as t-shirts.
The Political Science student and faculty Spring social will take place on Tuesday, May 4th. This is Siena's Reading Day, so it will be a good chance for students to take a break with free food and also the free shirts that will be given out. Students will also get a chance to interact with other Political Science majors and get to know their faculty.
