Padua Hall Rooms:Padua Hall rooms are currently triple-occupancy rooms. All rooms in Padua Hall have a living space of 14'x17'6" (14'x25'10' overall space with bath dimensions). All rooms come furnished and/or equipped with the following:
Padua Hall Staff:Padua Hall is staffed by a live-in professional Residence Director who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Padua Hall, including maintenance and facilities concerns, mediating conflicts between students, supervision of paraprofessional Resident Assistant staff, adjudicating violations of the Siena College student code of conduct, and many other responsibilities. The Residence Director of Padua Hall is currently Ms. Riane Corter. Riane is currently in her third year working at Siena College. Each Residence Hall (except for the Townhouses and Hennepin) also houses a Friar-in-Residence. Franciscan Friars model Franciscan ideals, recognize the goodness and value of each person, and serve as a resource for students for any concerns they might have. Also working in Padua Hall are 4 Resident Assistants, who are student-leaders living on each floor of the residence hall who serve as peer mentors and role models for the residents of the building. RAs go through an in-depth training every August and January to provide them with the skills necessary to ensure all residents of Padua Hall feel welcomed and safe in the residence hall. The Padua Hall CommunityRAs plan social, academic, spiritual, diversity, wellness, and service programs for the residents of the building to help get them involved in the Siena Community and develop their skills as students and leaders on campus. Each RA hosts at least 4 programs a semester, so in Padua Hall alone that is 16 chances each semester to become involved, meet your peers, and learn new skills! Some previous RA programs have included an International Foods Buffet, Spa Night Programs, Monday Night Football parties, and hall dinners.
