First-year Leadership Institute

 

 

The First-year Leadership Institute (FLI) is a program intended for first-year students with an interest in leadership and personal leadership development. The program will allow students from a variety of leadership backgrounds to meet and learn more about leadership opportunities at Siena College, as well as explore their own leadership potential. Participants will have the opportunity to:

 
  • Foster leadership potential and skills to become an outstanding leader through various activities and exercises
  • Explore and define aspects of leadership and types of approaches
  • Develop a personal leadership style
  • Identify and discover leadership opportunities at Siena College
 
Due to the depth of the content that will be covered, this program will meet bi-weekly on the following dates for the Fall 2011 semester:
  
  • Monday September 19th 12:30-1:30 pm
  • Monday October 3rd 12:30-1:30 pm
  • Monday October 17th 12:30-1:30 pm
  • Monday October 31st 12:30-1:30 pm
  • Monday November 14th 12:30-1:30 pm
  • Monday November 28th 12:30-1:30 pm
  • Monday December 12th 12:30-1:30 pm

 

Participants will be required to attend ALL sessions and by completing this application understand that, if accepted, participants  will be able to attend ALL sessions. In addition, the instructors reserve the right to add meeting dates/times as necessary.
