Education Expo 2011 is coming soon! 

When: Thursday, April 7th, 2011- 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

How do I get there?

Is parking free?

     Yes.

How do I sign up?

     No sign up is necessary.  When you arrive to the Convention Center, please check in with the Career Center (look for the table with the Siena banner).  We will give you a nametag and answer any questions you have as far as the schools in attendance.

What should I wear?

     Dress professionally and conservatively.

What should I bring?

     Bring many copies of your resume on quality resume paper.  Some students also find it helpful to bring a padfolio and a pen.

Why are there so few schools in attendance?

     Despite extensive outreach, many districts are unsure of their hiring capacities for next year and have unfortunately elected not to attend.

Will I receive an interview if I attend?

     Schools/ districts have the option of selecting candidates to interview on the day of the fair.  Please feel free to inquire with the school/ district in which you are interested.

What should I have on my resume?

     Please get your resume critiqued well in advance of the Expo.  Please call the Career Center at 518-783-2339 to schedule an appointment.  Additionally, please feel free to seek out the expertise of your education professors.
