Assistant Professor of Creative Arts - Studio Art

The Siena College Department of Creative Arts invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2010. The applicant will hold a MFA in art and have previous experience teaching in a college or university setting. The ideal candidate will work well in an interdisciplinary department including visual art, music and theatre; will specialize in drawing and painting, and have experience in new genre exhibition formats. Application will consist of letter of interest, curriculum vitae, names and contact information for three references, Word document consisting of five color images of your drawing/painting work, and five of your students’ drawing/painting work. Electronic submission in Word format is preferred, to SLAsearches@siena.edu Surface mail should be directed to Art Search, Ms. Keisha Moore, School of Liberal Arts, Siena College, 515 Loudon Road, Loudonville, NY 12211-1462. Materials must be received or postmarked by December 7^th, 2009.
