Assistant Professor of History - East Asian HistoryThe History Department at Siena College seeks an historian in East Asian History for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professorship beginning in academic year 2010-11. A strong record of teaching and research is necessary. In addition to teaching East Asia, responsibilities will include a core survey course on 20th-21st-century world history. The person hired will be encouraged to teach upper level Asian courses in the college’s current catalog as well as develop new courses within his/her specialty.
