Assistant Professor of Spanish
SPANISH: Full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish beginning September 2010. The Siena College Department of Modern Languages and Classics seeks a generalist to teach introductory through advanced Spanish courses in language, civilization and literature. A Ph.D., native or near-native fluency and knowledge of contemporary Peninsular literature are required, and experience using instructional technology is a plus.Teaching load: 3 courses (9 credit hours) per semester prior to tenure decision. For tenure, consistent research and excellence in teaching will be required.
