Study of the mind spans a diverse range of fields and sciences. Its theories and practices are relevant to a wide spectrum of human affairs. It promotes healthy relationships, provides the groundwork for advancement in a variety of professions, and enhances self-knowledge.
 
At Siena, psychology students are introduced to perspectives and methodologies that allow them to better examine, assess and evaluate the world in which they live by learning to:

  • Prepare for graduate programs at prestigious universities
  • Develop skills in academic, research and professional areas

The program’s courses are enhanced by hands-on research and internship opportunities, activities of the Psychology Club, the EQ – social and Emotional Intelligence Program for Children project, Psi Chi national honor society, study abroad and collaboration with a student-centered and accomplished faculty.
