The many needs for environmental remediation today and for the future are creating strong demand for people well-educated in natural world processes and the effects human development has on our environment.
 
Siena’s Environmental Studies Department provides students with a broad framework based on solid ethical principles for understanding local and global environmental issues.  They explore multiple facets of current environmental problems in the context of societal and scientific decision-making. At the same time, they can also take advantage of many program components including:
