Economic decisions are made on all levels from single households and small businesses to multinational trading blocks and global societies. How we use the planet’s resources and the effects of economic decisions on our personal and professional lives shape the world in which we live.
 
Recently identified by The Wall Street Journal as “the hot major for undergrads,” the focus of economics on quantitative and qualitative skills leads Siena graduates to a broad range of opportunities:

Students can major or minor in econmoics and earn either a bachelor of arts or a bachelor of science degree. Beyond the theoretical and practical learning of the classroom, economics majors participate in internships, research projects, symposia, community service, study abroad, Economics Honor Society and more.
