The life sciences offer students a unique combination of understanding established principles along with the opportunity to discover new ones.
 
In collaboration with a highly reputable faculty -- experts in their respective disciplines engaged in funded research – students participate in a laboratory-intensive curriculum to learn how science is done and how to critically evaluate biological principles. At the same time, they learn to communicate their knowledge and ideas effectively.
