Franciscan Earth Corps

Franciscan Earth Corps
The Franciscan Earth Corps is a faith-based environmental leadership program that gets college students and young adults involved in hands-on Caring for Creation and environmental justice projects.
Open to students of any faith, the Franciscan Earth Corps gathers visionary young people who are inspired by the life and energy of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi.

We come together to:
- integrate our faith and spirituality into the rest of our work to advance environmental justice and protect the environment
- learn about ecology and environmental sustainability issues and ethics
- engage in environmental service projects in the local ecosystem
- participate in outdoor recreation (like camping, canoeing and hiking)
- teach environmental education to youth
We gather on Wednesday evenings at 5:30PM in the St. Francis room of the Chapel, and do projects and field trips on weekends. To get involved or to get more information, contact advisor
Dr. Riobart (Rob) Breen, SFO. To learn about Franciscan Young Adults, visit the
